Experienced, truly affordable salt room/salt cave builders
One of the main obstacles in building a Salt Therapy business is the difficulty - as a cost and as a process - to achieve a design that will resemble a natural salt mine/salt cave. Installing salt on the walls/ceiling/floor for many business owners creates such a big challenge that some of them decide to only purchase a Halogenerator (and maybe a minimal salt decor), place few recliners and VOILA! the salt room is ready for business. This is unfortunate because some of these businesses will fail, in part because of that wrong setting. There are unscrupulous vendors, "market leaders" in Halotherapy that will say anything only to sell their Halogenerators and some Himalayan decorations or salt bricks - they will claim that will be enough for a complete salt room/cave. Nothing about the antimicrobial property of salt or relaxing effect of a right salt room setting, nothing about the fact that the studies conducted in Halotherapy took place in proper salt rooms or even salt mines. More over, some vendors would "educate" future prospective salt therapy business owners about how Himalayan salt panels/bricks/lamps they sell emit negative ions that are beneficial for health - this is a totally fraudulent claim pushed only to increase their sales. The only truth is that Himalayan salt is more appealing, beautiful and trendy, but no extra health benefits like the negative ions and those magic 84 minerals. Additionally, some contractors will charge "consulting fees" for advice about how to set HVAC, ventilation, etc
On the other hand, unscrupulous salt rooms/caves builders would charge outrageous amounts for building a salt room/cave. They also would promote the magic properties of Himalayan salt because building a Himalayan salt cave will bring much more profit than building a white salt crystal salt room. Over the years we encounter situations were prospective business owners were getting for the same projected salt cave estimates ranging between
$20,000 - $150,000! - no wonder that salt therapy market grew in such a slow peace.
These are some of the reasons that motivated us to keep working on developing new methods and products that will eventually make the process of building a salt room/salt cave a real easy, affordable DIY process. Building a salt room/cave at the highest scientific standards should be a really affordable process and this involve that business owners will have a chance to provide salt therapy at lower prices, and at the some time having healthy profits for their work.
